ESSAYS :Picnic With Family

It was an ideal day for for a picnic. The skies were clear and blue, and it was bright and sunny. My father drove us far into the countryside. We were happy to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the crowded city.

After an hour, we reached a grassy place beside a babbling stream. We rested under shady trees for a while . My sister and I gathered wild flowers. Soon my brother called us for a game. We played hide-and-seek. Mother had already spread out a chequered picnic cloth on the ground. She laid out all the food that we had packed early on. We had cucumber sandwiches, sponge cakes, apples and bananas. Father poured out iced milointo paper cups. We watched the birds as the sun set.

Soon, it was time to go home. It was an enjoyable day and we had a peaceful and quiet time at the countryside. We decided to come again another day.
